BLOOD MANAGEMENT

TRIDENT offers you more than the highest quality cardiovascular and blood management support. A special approach toward reducing the use of homologous (donor) blood and increasing the use of autologous (patient's own) blood whenever possible is the prime focus of the Blood Management Division.

TRIDENT delivers autotransfusion (cell saving) services which include trained technicians, capital equipment and disposable supplies. Specialized intraoperative and post-operative blood salvage, plasmapheresis and cell washing for all surgical specialties are offered. Cardiovascular, orthopaedic, vascular, general, neurosurgery, OB/GYN, plastic and urologic services, which can include emergency collection, are tailored to the needs of individual hospitals and surgeons with 24-hour, seven days a week availability.
